ROTEX System 70 Industry - The modern way to heat large areas

System 70 Industry can be used anywhere where large floor heating areas are to be created. This is practical from an individual surface area of 200 m2. In the case of smaller surfaces, the ROTEX System 70 with the DUO-17 heating pipe is used. For such fields of application, underfloor heating offers a wealth of clear advantages compared to other heating surfaces – the greatest part of the heat is transferred through heat radiation, by means of which the desired comfortable temperature is obtained in the vicinity of the floor. In contrast to convective heating, the room temperature decreases as the height increases. Heat losses are therefore kept to a minimum. Energy use is reduced.

  • Air velocities caused by heating are kept to a minimum, thus avoiding draughts and dust.
  • Since heating causes little movement in the air, the effect on employees in the operating area can be kept to a minimum in production facilities prone to dust and toxic substances.
  • The room temperature can be controlled individually according to zones.
  • In spite of the comparatively low air temperature, the room temperature and air quality feel comfortable and constant.

Increased comfort at a lower cost

Free selection of the heating surface in industrial areas and in the administration area means that the heating is optimally based on requirements and therefore provides a maximum of heating comfort. Through the simple structure of the heating system, the costs for the system itself are low. Moreover, energy consumption is also kept to a minimum by the heating system being adapted to zones. The design feed temperature of the System 70 Industry underfloor heating system runs at max. 70° C. In addition to the possibility of combining heating surfaces, the increase in the underfloor heating water temperature offers a wide range of other advantages:

Advantages

  • The double jacket on the DUO Pipe protects the water-conducting interior pipe from damage when operated in rough building site conditions (the use of concrete vibrators is of no consequence)
  • Reduced water content of the entire system due to a low pipe cross section of the water-conducting pipe and therefore smaller expansion tanks and lower inertia
  • Large temperature spread in the 20 K design case, therefore reduced water flow and smaller circulation pumps
  • No additional overpushing required of the protection pipe in the expansion joint area
  • Easy laying by using system plates or fixing to the steel reinforcement
  • Large permissible drilling depth for fixing machines and systems when using system plates. Hence unlimited use of the floor area
