The system structure
The ROTEX System 70 Industry underfloor heating system is available in two different design variants:
- With ISODUR system plate
- Heating pipe fixed to the steel reinforcement
Preparation
Regardless of whether the system structure is made using ISODUR system plate or steel reinforcement, the following preparations must be made.
- Levelling and packing of the base
- Addition of a blinding layer
- Addition of a PE film as the sealing against increasing moisture
- Fitting of the edging insulating strip to all rising components
- Assembly of the heating circuit distributor
Construction with the ISODUR system plate
The ISODUR system plate provides heat insulation and pipe support in one. It is laid directly on the sealing rail made of PE film which is installed on site.
Construction with steel reinforcement
When building without an ISODUR system plate, the DUO heating pipe is fixed directly to the steel reinforcement mat. This is carried out using plastic-coated lashing wire. The pipe is easily and securely fixed by means of a drill. The DUO Pipe can be laid after the lower steel mat layer has been integrated in the distributor. The pipe distances stipulated in the laying plan are easily achieved by counting the grille division of the steel reinforcement.
