Fittings. The benefits of plastic.
Fittings and distributors manufactured from high-quality plastic which has already proved itself in aviation and space technology thanks to its extreme notched impact strength, thermal ageing stability and good fire protection behaviour. The fittings are tested with an inner pressure of up to 36 bar and temperatures of up to 120 °C. Corrosion, deplating and the washing out of metal irons as well as external corrosion in concealed mounting are not a feature of ROTEX VA plastic fittings – and influence on drinking water is kept to a minimum.
Sliding sleeves. Just safer.
The ROTEX VA sliding sleeves are made from high-performance plastic which offers maximum protection against rupture or other mechanical stresses. The thermal expansion of pipe, fittings and sliding sleeves is almost the same. The plastic sleeve actively prevents corrosion to the outside of the pipe. To seal the ROTEX VA pipe, no O-rings or other sealing elements are used with the sliding sleeves. For this reason, there are no assembly faults or damage to the sealing elements whatsoever.
